In Trump’s America, migrant children are forced to represent themselves in court—alone, voiceless, unprotected. This is not due process. It is ritualized abandonment, where law becomes performance and cruelty becomes doctrine.
We got here because cruelty was repackaged as control, and too many called it policy. We got here because the law stopped serving people and started performing for power. And we’ll go further—unless more people feel exactly what you’re feeling now.
Yes. The pattern is always familiar: dehumanize, isolate, silence, erase. And always with the same excuse—security, purity, order. Fascism never sleeps. It just changes its target. We have no choice but to speak.
You said it: ‘no one can bear their cry.’ That should be enough to wake the dead. Or shame the living.
That’s the power of bearing witness—sometimes it makes silence feel unbearable. I hope you’ll share even a piece of what you’re thinking. These voices matter. Your voice matters.
I appreciate your compassion and coverage on this atrocity. There isn’t a day I don’t think of these scenarios. I most likely feel as strong about this as you.
I don’t feel utilizing a patronizing projection is productive if that is your position towards me.
I am a mother of family sexual abuse towards my own children and have experienced sexual abuse in various forms by various people at a young age.
On the other hand, there is much about my life and social media which I don’t feel safe discussing.
None of this personal data in my initial responses which could have potential to compromise my wellbeing.
This is so upsetting and disturbing. No words can describe how this makes me feel. How did we get here?

Bertolt Brecht: "The bitch of fascism is always in the heat."
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
(And the collapsed URRS)
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a chinese
(Now they are after China)
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
(They burned alive unionists at Odessa trade Union)
Then they came for the Palestinians
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Semite
(200.000 lives burning alive at Gaza daily)
Then they came for the schools and universities
And there is no one left
To speak out for the students
Now they came for the children
And no one can bear their cry...
Soon they will come after me and you and every one
Who dares to expose their atrocities...
Will you obey Silently of speak up loudly?

Abomination. I have three different responses which are way too long to post.

If I could, I would. This is public.
Oh, 😅. Gotcha. Message received then. 💙

There will be no escaping the cruelty purposefully being inflicted upon the vulnerable by this regime. May God have mercy.
You’re right. This isn’t policy—it’s performance. And the cruelty is the point.
My God!
Thank you for reading. That’s the only honest response to what this country is doing. I felt the same writing it.
I can’t take this. These poor kids. Trump is the Devil.
